**Israeli and Palestinian Who Lost Family Unite to Write Peace Book**
An Israeli man and a Palestinian man who each lost close family members in the recent conflict have formed a powerful bond. They now call themselves brothers and have written a book together advocating for peace. The Israeli's parents were killed in the Hamas-led attack on October 7, 2023. The Palestinian's brother later died from injuries suffered while in Israeli detention. Despite their personal tragedies, the two have chosen a path of joint activism. They argue that reconciliation, not revenge, is the only way forward for the region. Their new book is titled *The Future Is Peace: A Shared Journey Across the Holy Land*. In it, they document their conversations and travels together across Israel and the Palestinian territories. The pair say their mission is to show that cooperation is possible, even between those who have suffered deeply from the conflict. They aim to inspire others to seek dialogue and understanding.
