Ex-Michigan Coach Gets Probation in Stalking Case
A former University of Michigan head football coach has been sentenced to probation for stalking a university employee.
Sherrone Moore, who was fired in December, received an 18-month probation sentence this week. He will not serve jail time. The charge stemmed from allegations that he stalked a staff member after his dismissal.
The case was resolved in the 15th District Court. Specific details of the stalking allegations have not been made public.
Moore served as interim head coach for the Wolverines during the 2023 season. The university has not commented on the legal proceedings.
