Rock Hall 2024: Oasis, Sade, and Phil Collins Lead Surprise Inductees

culture
The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame has announced its 2024 inductees, featuring a mix of iconic bands and legendary solo artists. The headline class includes British rock group Oasis, smooth soul singer Sade, and Genesis frontman-turned-solo star Phil Collins. They will be joined by punk rocker Billy Idol, R&B vocalist Luther Vandross, and the influential hip-hop collective Wu-Tang Clan. The annual selection also highlights artists who were nominated but not chosen. This year, that group includes pop icon Mariah Carey, R&B group New Edition, and rock singer Melissa Etheridge. The induction ceremony will be held this fall in Cleveland.
