**Family Dog Kills Teenager; Second Fatal Attack in Days**
A 19-year-old woman has died after being attacked by a family dog in Essex, UK. Police have named the victim as Jamie-Lea Biscoe.
Emergency services were called to a property in Leaden Roding late Friday night. Biscoe was found with serious injuries and pronounced dead at the scene.
A 37-year-old man from Dunmow has been arrested. He is suspected of being in charge of a dog that was dangerously out of control and caused a death. He has been released on bail until July.
Police seized the dog, described as a family pet and believed to be a lurcher crossbreed. Tests are ongoing to confirm its breed.
"This is unimaginable for her loved ones," said Assistant Chief Constable Stuart Hooper. He asked the public to respect the family's privacy.
This incident follows another fatal dog attack just days earlier. On Thursday, a three-month-old baby died in a suspected attack in North Yorkshire. A 45-year-old man was also arrested in that case.
Anyone with information about the Essex attack is asked to contact police.
