Nigerian Military Airstrike Kills Over 100 Civilians at Market
A Nigerian military airstrike has killed more than 100 civilians at a market in the country's northeast. The air force was targeting jihadist rebels but hit the crowded civilian area instead.

The human rights group Amnesty International reported the death toll after speaking to survivors of the strike. The incident happened in Yobe state, an area long affected by the Boko Haram insurgency.
