Hungary's Choice: East or West, Corruption or Clean Government?
Hungarian opposition figure Péter Magyar has called the upcoming European Parliament elections a "decisive" moment for the country.
In a public statement, Magyar framed the June vote as a fundamental choice for Hungary's future. "We are choosing between East or West, propaganda or honest public discourse, corruption or clean public life," he said.
Magyar, a rising political force, is urging high voter turnout. He presents the election as a referendum on the nation's direction.
The elections will test the strength of his new movement against the long-governing Fidesz party. All seats in the European Parliament are contested.
