98 Degrees Reveal Label's "Age of Consent" Tour Bus Handbook

Nick Lachey, lead singer of 1990s boyband 98 Degrees, says their record label gave them a manual listing the legal age of consent in every U.S. state. The revelation comes from a new documentary, "Boy Band Confidential." Lachey describes receiving the book at the start of the group's first tour. "This is going to sound super shady," Lachey says in the film. "I remember our first tour, someone at the label gave us a book, and it was the age of consent in every state in the country. We kept that book on the tour bus." He states the label's goal was to limit potential legal problems for the young band members while traveling. The documentary premieres Monday on Investigation Discovery.
