The store reports a 121% year-on-year increase in sales of designer matchboxes. It has labeled them the essential home item for 2026. To meet demand, Selfridges has more than doubled its range. It now offers over 100 styles. Prices range from £5 to over £235 for a single box. This trend sees traditional brands like Swan Vesta replaced by luxury names such as Cartier.
