**German Far-Right Party Moves to Expel Pro-Russia Chechen Member**
Germany's Alternative for Germany (AfD) party has begun proceedings to expel a member with Chechen roots. The move follows reports of his activities advocating for closer ties between Germany and Russia. The member, influencer Murad Dadaev, traveled to Chechnya. There, he met officials linked to the region's Moscow-backed leader, Ramzan Kadyrov. Social media posts show Dadaev performing military-style training with a Kalashnikov rifle. He also received a historic dagger as a gift. The weapon was from Nazi Germany's military, the Wehrmacht, and featured a swastika. The AfD, which is under official surveillance as a suspected extremist group in Germany, stated Dadaev's actions violate the party's principles. His calls for German "unity" with Russia are seen as conflicting with the party's stance, despite its generally pro-Russia views. The expulsion process is now underway.
