One OK Rock Abruptly Cancels Hong Kong Shows, Fans Stunned
Japanese rock band One OK Rock has canceled its two Hong Kong concerts scheduled for early May. The group cited "unforeseen circumstances" but gave no specific reason.
The shows, set for May 2 and 3 at the Central Harbourfront Event Space, are now canceled. They were part of the band's "Detox" Asia Tour 2026. The announcement was made on Thursday.
This is the second major cancellation for the band's tour. In early March, One OK Rock also canceled a planned concert in Shanghai, China, scheduled for May 9.
The band is very popular, with over 3 million followers on Instagram. Frontman Taka leads the group. The sudden cancellation has disappointed many local fans in Hong Kong who were expecting to see the band perform.
