The GBA is a major Chinese government project linking 11 cities into an integrated economic hub. Local government and industry leaders are now collaborating. This means creating specific technologies for sectors like transport, healthcare, and city management. Officials believe these tools will make services faster and better connect citizens. This strategic push will be showcased at the upcoming InnoEX 2026 event. The city will present its "Smart Hong Kong Pavilion" to a global audience.
