Hong Kong Launches AI Institute for "AI for All" Strategy
Hong Kong will launch a new artificial intelligence (AI) research institute this month. Its goal is to boost government technology and spread AI benefits to every resident and business sector.
Permanent Secretary for Innovation Kevin Choi announced the plan. He said the Hong Kong Artificial Intelligence Research and Development Institute will focus on integrating a locally developed AI system.
This "AI for all" strategy aims to strengthen official capabilities. It also ensures the technology's advantages reach the entire community. The institute represents a major step in the city's push to become a leading tech hub.
