ICE Agents Open Fire in California, Injuring Suspected Gang Member
U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents shot and injured a man during an operation in Northern California. Federal authorities state the incident occurred when a "wanted gang member" attempted to run over an agent with a car.
The shooting took place as agents attempted to arrest the suspect. An ICE spokesperson said the agents fired their weapons in response to the immediate threat.
